Of Course, This Has Always Been About The Jews

The HARTFORD COURANT reports (sans byline) on the “dozen protesters” who “marched in front of ESPN headquarters in Bristol today, calling for the firing of on-air personality Dana Jacobson for comments she made at a recent roast.

Dana Jacobson Protest

The jobless protesters, most from local houses of worship, carried snazzy signs that read “ESPN , Say No to Hate Speech,” and “Fairness in the Media.”

The protestors featured dynamic souls like Reverend Patrick J. Mahoney, director of the Christian Defense Coalition. Or was it the Christian Defense League. Or Commission. We’re not really sure.

Mahoney highlighted the excitement on the ESPN campus, by summing up what we’ve been thinking on this from the outset: This is all about the Jews, Blacks and homosexuals (of course!).

Excerpt: “‘Hate speech and religious bigotry should have no place in the workpace,’ said Mahoney, as he held a ‘Dana, We Forgive You’ poster. Mahoney argued that if Jacobson had offended Jews, African Americans, or homosexuals, ESPN would have fired her immediately. ‘ESPN is not using the same standard for religious hate,’ Mahoney said.

So to even things up, we expect to soon see Neil Everett hosting SportsCenter in black face, Scott Van Pelt reporting from the Super Bowl while gussied up as Shylock and best of all, Nathan Lane next up on the Budweiser Hot Seat. THEN heads will truly roll!
