NYDN Report: Jays, Yankees Swapped Strippers?

Now Jo Piazza of the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, sadly, isn’t exactly known for the veracity of her sports gossip reporting. So we’re not so sure about her claim today that the Yankees and Blue Jays were swapping strippers at a NYC peel joint last week.

MLB hottie: Two reasons ballplayers shouldn't be paying for it

The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Yankees Wednesday night, but there was no ill will between the two teams later that evening when some of the players showed up at Rick’s Cabaret to, um, blow off some steam.
The Blue Jays bought the Yanks their first round of drinks.

Later, they even ‘traded’ some of Rick’s Girls. Multiple blonds and brunettes danced for both teams,” our snitch says.

“Dancer” Karen (34C-23-35) said, “I love the Yankees, but the Toronto guys had a lot of class. Oh yeah, they were great tippers.”

It’s nice to know that the weakening dollar has (allegedly) gotten the Jays out of their hotel more often.

Here’s what we don’t get: If you’re a MLB player, why go to a strip joint? Couldn’t you do pretty well with hookups at the bars and clubs? We just don’t get it.

We look at strippers and comfort women similarly. Odds are that the same hottie you have your hands all over was most recently doing the nasty with the fattest, sweatiest creton from South Yemen or Turkimenistan you can imagine. And you’re paying for it?

For men under 50, with less than 46% body fat, shouldn’t it be the other way around?

That’s not a tough question to answer. At a bar or club, anything could happen. At a strip club, the roles are clearly established and there are rules. The product might come off as rather boring and repetitive to us, but the portions are plentiful and everyone has to be friendly to you.

It’s the same reason NBA players can be found at Cheesecake Factory. (ahem.)
