You know, most of the whole “naked cell phone pictures” phenomenon has centered mostly around high school girls (namely, cheerleaders) sending photos around to local boys for attention. But then this guy came around:
He’s a youth soccer coach in New Jersey who decided that it was a good idea to show some 13-year-old boys nude photos on his phone. Only, it appears they were of him. Oof.
The NEWARK STAR-LEDGER has the details:
Keith Ammermann, 51, of Piscataway was charged with four counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne Forrest said. He was arrested Tuesday night at Watchung police headquarters and held on $25,000 bail. As a condition of bail, he is prohibited from having contact with children younger than 16.
16? It sounds like this guy shouldn’t be allowed to have contact with any human being for a while.
The story goes on to say that there’s evidence that Ammerman wasn’t picky about what gender he was showing off to:
On Monday, a 13-year-old Watchung boy told local police Ammermann sent sexually explicit text messages to his cell phone, Forrest said. The prosecutor also said two Warren Township boys, both 13, on Tuesday told police in that town Ammermann had shown them nude photographs on his cell phone.
Video recovered from the coach’s residence depicted him also showing material from his cell phone to a 14-year-old girl from Warren, according to Forrest.
C’mon, Keith, be a real man like Sean Salisbury and send your naked pictures around to adults.
And it’s not like Ammerman is just some guy who rolled into town with a sketchy past. He’s been on the school board in three different towns in New Jersey. I’m sure that everyone in those towns is just thrilled to learn that a bunch of decisions about the future of their children was made by an apparent pedophile.
The youth association’s president says that Ammerman “loves soccer,” which is too bad, because I’m not sure they play a lot of it in the prison he’s going to.

Golden Hurricane Carter and the other posters on this website should give Mr Ammermann the benefit of the doubt….unless you know first hand what transpired you have no right convicting him or commenting on what he did or did not do…while he may have made some very poor and morally wrong decisions I prefer to let the system do its job…anyone can accuse anyone of anything in this country…you are innocent until proven guiilty..if he is guilty then he deserves the punishment…but if he is not then you owe him a public apology….I doubt however that you have the internal fortitude to do this…prove me wrong…
