Interesting to see all these viral ad videos hitting the web now. The 3-5 minute jobs. It’s a sure sign major companies are finally warming up to the power of the web, and a good sign for the future of the sports blogosphere.

Internet ads have unfairly been held to a higher standard than old media advertising (TV, radio, billboards). That’s partly because of the cost-per-action standard that was first set by the dumbasses who pitched web advertising. Now we’re seeing more and more enormo brand campaigns. And more companies are allocating significant portions of their ad budget to web.
It’s a trend that’s only just begun. Get used to it, dinosaur media!
