The failure of the CBJ to draw crowds has very little to do with Columbus being an Ohio State town first - which it is, by the way - and everything to do with the fact that ten years in, they're showing absolutely no indication that they might contend for the playoffs...ever.  I stopped buying tickets not because I don't enjoy the games, but because it makes no sense to cough up $40 a seat to watch guys like R.J. Umberger and Kristian Huselius lose 5-1. Get me management that understands they need a first line center who's better than Manny Malhotra, and I'm right back in the arena.  For now, it's best to just watch on TV.
