NHL Players Sue Golf Developer Over Porn Parties

When you give someone $25 million to build golf resorts, you might be a bit miffed when they use your dough to host parties with porn stars. And for an even bigger slap in the face, they don’t even invite you.

But that’s just what 19 current and former NHL players are alleging against golf course developer Ken Jowdy. The hockey players are suing Jowdy to get back the $25 million they invested in two luxury golf resorts in Mexico that have yet to be built, plus $15 million more in additional damages. The lawsuits claim that Jowdy put their putting money towards prostitutes for “lavish parties”. And check out out who was on the invite list.

Instead of inviting any icemen, Jowdy brought along some baseball stars, including Roger Clemens & Reggie Jackson. From the NEW YORK POST:

Instead, the players say, Jowdy got rowdy, squandering their cold cash on “lavish parties” that included “various female porn stars, escorts, strippers [and] party girls” to impress Clemens, Jackson, banned star Pete Rose and ESPN announcer Joe Morgan, one of the suits filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleges.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall at those “special events”. Wonder if Jowdy tried to bring along any of these gorgeous golfing gals for some fun foursomes. He certainly could afford it with all the hockey players’ moolah. Or maybe Ken contacted these Kansas ladies instead, since they might have been a little cheaper.

Bet Jon Miller was peeved Joe didn’t bring him along. Maybe he can bring it up during the next ESPN Sunday Night Baseball telecast. It’ll probably be more entertaining than whatever game they’re covering.

Of course, Jowdy is denying the allegations from the NHLers. As he told the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS:

“I’d love to talk to them. I’d be thrilled to pick up the phone and invite them to come there and play a round of golf.”

The players might like that. As long as Ken doesn’t forget the girls.
