Perkins wants Mangino gone and he created a media firestorm that couldn't be contained to see that it happened. Mangino will be forced out. That's a given. He will now be unable to effectively recruit and his team is deeply divided over what has happened. BUT there is no love in Lawrence, Kansas for Lew Perkins. The man has been a cancer on our University. Hopefully he will be ushered out the door too!! It's either his way or the highway. Funny quick story: One time a bus was parked illegally on the property of a UConn athletic site. Well Perkins wasn't happy, ended up getting into a shouting match with the guy, and "fired," the bus driver. One problem, the bus driver didn't work for him, and Perkins had no authority over the guy.
