Jaynes: “You probably know that to the rest of the country, they’re not very important. At all. Even though the Western Conference series has provided great drama, the television ratings are, I think, embarrassing.

Jaynes then has the sad specifics for David Stern on the TV ratings for the first week of May: “Both hours of WWE Raw were watched by more people than any of the NBA games. One of the other Jazz-Warrior games finished behind an episode of ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ in eighth place.”
