Finally, the day has arrived when you can wile away the morning pouring over your brackets one last time, submit your answers, and lean back this afternoon in your chair and see how your picks do. You can try to pretend that you’re getting work done today, but you’re not fooling anyone.
(Last year’s champions; will they repeat or flame out?)
But how can anyone focus on a NBA Dance Team Bracket voting day? It’s ridiculous that anyone would even ask. It should be a national holiday, really. You have been voting for your favorite NBA dance teams, haven’t you? You’re not one of those office party-poopers, are you? Of course not; join the national craze before it’s too late!
The NBA continues its fine tradition of letting you vote on local dance teams as often as possible. Whether it’s last year’s NBA Dance Team Bracket or the All-Star Dance Team or this year’s balloting, the NBA needs your opinion on its dance teams more often than Antoine Walker jacks up threes. (Every time the iron clangs, an angel gets its wings.)
While the Dance Team bracket may be a more successful one than that gasoline-soaked house of cards you call a NCAA Tournament bracket, the eventual victor here could not be more obvious.
While the team continues to be lousy, the Miami Heat Dancers are in the heart of their MJ-level run after winning the bracket last year. If the Heat Dancers lose, it’s Karl Malone’s MVP all over again.
Still, who would you rather root for this weekend: Siena or Sierra?
