I’m not sure what they’re doing with letting different drivers have the same song, though.

I see rap, pop, old rock, new rock, country. I think I am missing the point here. IF Nascar is redneck, backwoods and slack jawed wouldn’t every song be a 1980’s country hit? Clearly Nascar was going for music that had something to do with a racing theme. I mean do you honestly believe that 19 year old Joey Logano from Connecticut has a Jerry Reed song on his Ipod? Were they supposed to work in a couple of B’s and ho’s rap tunes or something?

Pete Gaines, how do you get that I’m defending the names on the list? The point is that he is critical of others taste in music, and that it doesn’t conform to his standard. So in Pete’s warped mind, there is a problem with these people. Pretty shallow stuff. As for my musical tastes, like you, they’re not represented in this list.

Considering the state of modern music, I think I’ll stick with listening to AC/DC (or Dream Theater). NASCAR sucks, but not because of its fanbase or music taste’s. Its just boring & over hyped.
