WBZ-TV in Boston follows up on the report of WDBO-AM that Randy Moss has been accused of “battery upon a woman causing serious injury and then refused to allow her to seek medical attention.“
Moss’ response today: “I’ve never put a hand on one woman physically in an angry manner. … It was a friend of mine, a young lady, and it was an accident where she hurt herself. … They (then) called my attorneys trying to get x amount of dollars out of me and if we don’t give x amount of dollars to her they’re going to go to the press before the game.”
The Broward County also notes “Moss cannot come within 500 hundred feet of the victim and cannot use or possess firearms.”
Not to make light of the situation, but if the unnamed woman was indeed to get the cash she allegedly seeks to extort out of Moss, she’ll need to get within 500 feet.
