This wasn’t fantasy football in the sense of scanning Street & Smith magazines and drinking beer during draft parties, but an actual experience of playing football for the Maize & Blue.
$2,500 would have gotten you the chance to dress in the actual schools’ locker room, practice on the field, run drills, attend team meetings, watch game film, more practice, more drills, more meetings, and a cookie before bedtime.

The camp was organized to raise money for prostate cancer research at the university’s hospital. The two-day event brought in $260,000 - and probably some new patients for the school’s other medical departments.
But if these campers haven’t satisfied their thirst for gridiron gallantry, they can always hope that Ann Arbor gets a franchise in the new All-American Football League.
