Michigan Coach Picks Up Slack Of Knight Tirades

Now that Bobby Knight is off the college court and heading for the ESPN studios, who’s going to throw post-game tirades at the media now?

Enter Kevin Borseth.

UM HOOPS has footage of the Michigan women’s basketball coach meeting the press Thursday night, just after his Wolverines lost a 69-67 heartbreaker to Wisconsin.

Borseth spent the majority of his post-game speech on the subject of offensive rebounds. Well, not really spoke - more like screamed.

Upon entering the press room Borseth slammed his fist on the podium and exclaimed, “That’s how I feel.”

The cross coach went on to loudly verbalize his frustration with the rebounding - how the Badgers got 25, while his players couldn’t get one without a foul called. Kevin further vented his anger about the officiating by sarcastically suggesting his girls “gain 10 pounds” or “wear football pads” for their next game.

Borseth loses Bobby bonus points(NSFW) by forgoing any four-letter words, but an impressive agitated performance overall. And the critics agree:

Mike Gundy appreciated such a manly effort.

Dennis Green believed that Kevin is who he thought he was.

And John L. Smith can only slap himself in awe.
