It was not necessarily something done by McDonald's corporate. It may have been a franchise store that was running low on Happy Meal boxes and found old ones lying around. When you go back to a stockroom to pull supplies, you would not normally check to see what the content decorating the stock is. Stupid mistake yes, but enough to blast the corporation? Of course, to do that, TMZ would have had to do more thorough research. Wait, they are TMZ. What could I be thinking????? Now come on, let's be a wee bit fair hear.
