His coach said he might skip some meets until the swimsuit controversy is settled. This is what Phelps said: "Coming into this meet, I probably didn't prepare the best way that I should have ... I was beaten by the swimmer." Even the guy who beat Phelps said he won because of the suit. He said the suit took two seconds off his time. And he said this: "I hope there will be a time when I can beat Michael Phelps without these suits." So how did Phelps become the bad guy in this?
