While we make no guarantees around here about trying to be “equal opportunity” when it comes to showing scantily-clad images of males and females, every now and then we’re forced by law to provide some visual stimulation for the ladies in the form of a dreamy, hunky superstar actor. Which is why we’re broadcasting the following image:

The above image is Matt Damon filming his role for the upcoming movie The Informant. It’s also, obviously, why he felt he needed to get back into shape by running part of yesterday’s Escape to Miami triathlon. No way folks are going to flock to the next Jason Bourne movie if the star’s got a gut like that.

Film star Matt Damon participated in the running portion of the race as a member of a relay team along with his stepfather Jay Jones and family friend Barry Hetherington.

”My brother talked me into it,” Damon said.

Kyle Damon, an Ironman-hopeful who is in training for an Arizona competition in November, finished 27th on Sunday with a time of 2:23:40.

Matt Damon was greeted at the finish line by wife Luciana Bozán Barroso and newborn daughter Gia after finishing his 6.2-mile leg in 59 minutes and 54 seconds. The family lives in Miami.

We don’t mean to nitpick here, but that’s a pretty awful time by Damon. To compare him to another dreamy movie star Matt, Matthew McConaughey did his 4-mile run in Nautica Malibu Triathlon in only 27 minutes! And then went on to do the entire triathlon, not just wuss out in some “relay” format. Even more embarrassing, Jennifer Lopez finished her 4-mile run in 38 minutes, which pretty much paces with Damon’s 59-minute 6-mile run.

For shame, Jason Bourne. For shame.
