I was wondering about that - isn't Maryville, TN the small town just east of Knoxville, TN? I remember it from my days as an undergrad at Univ. of Tennessee/Knoxville.

Funny that Maryville High has such a great record when Maryville College never wins a game. Guess none of those kids stay home to play ball. (Maryville College class of 2002)

For your information, Hillsboro is a respected high school in an affluent area of Nashville, TN. You obviously haven't done enough research to know that. It would be the Maryville High Rebels that we consider East Tennessee throwbacks.
