Michael David Smith of AOL FANHOUSE learns that Marvin Harrison may have been involved in a shooting incident.

Anthony Gargano of WIP radio reports that Harrison was working at his bar in Philadelphia last Tuesday, when a man came in and began arguing with the Colts receiver:

According to Gargano, police have uncovered a gun registered to Harrison in connection with the incident. His report further states that a fistfight broke out when Harrison escorted a man out of his bar, called Playmakers. When the man fled, gunfire was exchanged. The man’s car was struck by a bullet and his hand was grazed, Gargano reported.

ESPN further reports that “a young girl was slightly injured by flying glass from a car that apparently was hit by a bullet.”

Police reportedly did ballistic tests, and determined that the shots were fired by a custom-made Belgian handgun - similar to a weapon that Harrison owns:

Police then went to a Philadelphia car wash owned by Harrison to question him about the gun. Harrison admitted owning such a weapon, but claimed it never left his suburban Philadelphia home. However, the source said the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed that it had fired seven bullets that matched those found at the scene.

Harrison has not yet been charged or arrested. But Gargano tells ESPN NEWS that police are currently getting their “ducks in a row” in preparing their case against Harrison.

Of all the recent problem players in the NFL (Michael Vick, Pacman Jones, Chad Johnson), who would have thought that mild-mannered Marvin would be joining their ranks.
