BREAKING - LLOYD CARR PROBABLY NOT A SOUL TRAIN FAN: The DETROIT NEWS reports that University of Michigan wide receiver Mario Manningham has been suspended for this Saturday’s game against Eastern Michigan for violating “undisclosed team rules“.
Most who watch Michigan football closely (our condolences) aren’t surprised by the move by Lloyd Carr. The coach has criticized Manningham for lack of effort on the field in the past, and the gimme game against EMU provides an opening for Carr to make a statement, however hollow.
