Two different online journos report today that Maria Sharapova and Sasha Vujacic have recently been seen together.
At noon today, CNBC’s Darren Rovell reported that the two were observed “cuddling” at a recent U2 concert.
Okay, no biggie. But another tennis reporter took it a step further.
Matt Cronin, managing editor of Inside Tennis magazine, co-owner of the award-winning tennisreporters.net and contributor to FoxSports.com, had this about two hours after Rovell’s Tweet:
So Cronin confirmed that the two are now “dating.”
That’s more significant news than you might think, considering I can’t remember the last time Sharapova has been linked to anyone. At least in a substantive fashion.
Has she been keeping her intimates on the down-low for all this time, or holding out for the right guy? In the internet age, it’s pretty incredible that this is the first we’ve heard of her dating a guy.
Between KhlOdom, Artest, Vanessa Bryant possibly doing a Real Housewives season and now Maria & Sasha, the Lakers season looks like it could asplode at any moment.
