NY Post Parks Simpson Twin Behind ‘Boys Bench

The NEW YORK POST reports that it hired a woman who resembles Jessica Simpson to sit in the stands at Texas Stadium yesterday in order to distract the Dallas Cowboys during their playoff game against the New York Giants.

NYP: “We sat her in the third row behind the Dallas bench, and she must have made the difference - (Tony) Romo’s final drive was stopped short of the end zone.

We’re dubious of her effect on the ‘Boys (then again, so THAT’S who Flozell Adams kept looking at!), as the Post only published one less-than-revealing photo of the woman. But, alas, it didn’t take long to find more photos of her strewn across the web.

The woman’s name is Lynsey Nordstrom and the NYP reports she’s a 21-year-old nanny from Bethell, Wash. The NEWARK STAR-LEDGER reports she’s also a professional Jessica Simpson look-alike and “will show up in her Tony Romo jersey for her usual appearance fee: $500 for the first hour, then $250 each hour after that.”

But for Sunday’s game, she told the Star-Ledger last week, “That sounds like fun. Even if my flight is covered, I might do it for free!”

Do what for free again?
