I was in attendance at the Brigham Young-San Diego State game in Provo last week and the Aztecs did try hard but were pounded by the Cougars anyway. Right now, the SDSU athletic department has conceded that it's in the Aztecs' best interests to quit so they can get a financial windfall. This is good for college football? We need a playoff because not only will the coffers be filled to the brim for EVERYONE, it will eradicate situations like this forever.
