Having your number retired for a year is quite a ceremony and the Lions didn't even have to do that. They easily could have done nothing for Corey. The fact that no one will wear his number for a year, in honor of the life that he lived on the field and off is an honor and a classy move by the Lions. Especially considering he wouldn't have even been on the team considering he was a free agent. Why do you hate Detroit so much Brooks?
