I think that with the amount of video evidence that has come out since the original decision, Chip might have decided that a season long suspension for punching someone was a little harsh. In the beginning, Blount’s reaction to the crowd was what made it seem appropriate to me. However, after seeing that Blount was physically attacked and verbally abused by the crowd, I can see where his reaction was almost warranted. I think that Blount has shown humility and he accepted his punishment completely. I wouldn’t have a problem with him playing the last few games of the season.

I agree that the whole season was a bit harsh of a penalty, and I’m a BSU fan. No taunting ever deserves that however.
The big problem is the msg Chip Kelly is sending. I’m a waffler….a Favre of discipline. He’s got to earn and keep the respect from the players and fans. This is not the way.
