Larry Johnson Turns The Tables, Sues Accuser

Well, it looks like Larry Johnson’s heading back to court again. Although, for once, he’s the one actually doing the accusing and not the other way around.

Larry Johnson $300,000 watch

LJ filed a lawsuit in Kansas City today as a countersuit to the incident earlier this fall when Johnson was alleged to have thrown a drink on a woman and threatened to kill her. Johnson’s claim? She a threw a drink on me first. In tough economic times, it’s nice to see lots of money going to various lawyers to argue about people throwing drinks.

MY FOX KANSAS CITY reported the countersuit and lays out what Johnson is seeking from Ashley N. Stewart:

Johnson’s counterclaim says Stewart screamed obscenities at him and threw a drink at his back and face.

Stewart’s suit seeks punitive damages, attorney fees and any other amount a jury deems to be fair. Johnson’s countersuit seeks the same.

Johnson has twice been suspended this season, and has been arrested four times in the last five years for allegedly assaulting women. This incident happened when Johnson was on suspension for what is rumored to be yet another incident in which he struck a woman at a club.

LJ’s been such a nice guy in the past, and I’m sure that Stewart’s lawyers won’t dredge up the other times he was simply “responding” to provocation.

He may be a misogynist, but he sure looks snazzy doing it.
