COULD LJ HAVE CUT A RAP TRACK CUTTING DOWN CHIEFS?: It would appear that Larry Johnson took some time in the offseason to pick up a mic and air some grievances, backed up by a strong beat:

FOX 4 in Kansas City lays down the 411 that the dissatisfied Chiefs running back reportedly recorded a rap to kick-start a second career and vent some frustrations at the team.
On the MySpace Music page of a group known as the SBL Mob, visitors are immediately greeted to the sounds of “larry johnson dissn…(sic)“. Be forwarned that the preceeding link is definitely NSFW, sprinkled liberally with ample usage of the N-word and F-word and gunshots - so keep the speakers low.

About 2:30 into the jam, the real fun begins, with LJ goin’ off on his employers:
“F**k Carl Peterson, the GM’s runnin’ it, they see me, they wanna treat me like I’m runnin’ it. I don’t give a f**k about comin’ back, I’d rather play for another team, ’cause I’d rather be a runnin’ back. Forever, and forever, however, you ni**az ain’t payin’ me, so 0-0-never…”
However, KSHB-TV gives word that Johnson denies making the song. Upon hearing the wack track for the first time, he responded, “That’s not my voice. If someone’s imitating me…kudos to them.”

Artists can be so modest sometimes. Either way, as far as the song goes - “Super Bowl Shuffle“, it ain’t.
