During the Tour of California, Lance Armstrong was visited along the route by “Syringe Man,” who appears to be an Andy Richter lookalike dressed up like some sort of evil Charlie Brown. And I know what you’re thinking: There’s another cycling race other than the Tour de France? I just thought they all came out of the woodwork in July for that whole thing then just went back on the shelf the rest of the year.
Anyway, Syringe Man didn’t make it that far, as Armstrong shoved him aside into a roadside snow pile. Good grief.

Thanks to THE DRUNK CYCLIST for the great pics:

to Lucie: at least the U.S. didn't roll over and let another country take over our homeland - we fought (admittedly with help) to gain independence. There's a big difference between the cowardice of willingly giving up something you've already earned vs. earning it initally. And France 'helped' with U.S. independence in France's typical way; by forming thin alliances with rivals of rivals to insideously undermine efforts of one, without directly 'helping' the efforts of another. That is fact, and proof of French timidity and passivness; French national treasures!!

Good job, Lance. People like Syringe Man getting that close. Gosh! Not safe at all. He could have hurt Lance bad. We are so lucky in California to have a cycling event like the Amgen Tour. Can't wait til the Giro and the Tour. Blessed be, Lance
