USA TODAY upchucks word that the two players were suffering from the stomach flu prior to Tuesday’s contest. Bynum ended up visiting a Twin Cities hospital to receive some IV fluids, and stayed courtside in street clothes for the game.However, Kobe mustered the strength to hit the floor for 29 minutes, and bucketed 20 points in the Lakers’ 116-95 win over the now 2-14 T-Wolves.

Earlier, Lake Show ringmaster Phil Jackson calmed the throngs of worried well-wishers when he talked about the teammates’ tummy-aches, saying, “I don’t think it’s life-threatening.”
