KEITH O., STEPHEN A. EYEING PATRICK’S SPOT O’ GOLD?: Now that Dan Patrick is being bounced from Bristol, will cohort Keith Olbermann follow him into the sunset (or at least a new studio location)?

The HARTFORD COURANT says ‘yes’. Or ‘no’. Actually, Olbermann isn’t sure:
“It’s possible I will go with him, and it’s possible I will stay at ESPN radio in some capacity. We really haven’t figured it out because they’ve been great. They’ve been terrific to me in the two years since I’ve been back, and they have bent over to accommodate my schedule. And then on the other hand, my principal motive for doing it was working with Dan.”

And now a new horse appears to be eyeing the soon-to-be vacant stable. The PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER reports that Stephen A. Smith is under consideration to take Patrick’s radio spot once Dan signs off on August 17.
However, Stephen A. quite frankly gave no comment, while ESPN didn’t return any phone calls (likely due to problems with ESPN Mobile).
