JOSE HOODWINKS USA TODAY INTO NOTING BOGUS SHOW: Those print media maniacs at USA TODAY apparently felt the need today to report on Jose Canseco’s lastest bogus attempt to get back in the limelight.

USAT notes Canseco recently said that he had “received wild responses from fans who want to participate” in his upcoming reality show.

Problem #1: The show doesn’t exist (Canseco has made futile attempts to pitch the show to various cable networks).

Problem #2: The Canseco-created website that supposedly took those “wild responses” registers zero traffic and the website sign-up form for the show doesn’t work.
The best part of Canseco’s faux web presence is his pathetic pitch to unsuspecting saps who might be interested in being on the show: “In the series finale, during one of Jose’s famous pool parties filled with Hollywood’s beautiful people, a winner will be selected and presented with the grand prize Jose’s 40/40 ring encrusted with 40 diamonds.”

Desperation, thy name is Jose.
