Brooks, not a bad idea for you to get back on the air two nights a week. It’s obvious you want to do it. And it will keep you in the loop so you’ll snag important details about whose peeping on who these days at ESPN. C’mon, if listeners are paying 12 bucks a month to hear Hacksaw Hamilton on Sirius then there’s gotta be a slot for you somewhere..

I hate fox radio now it was cool back when they had the Dave Smith show which was my favorite show. Rome to me is played out not the same impact no more. Fox Sports Radio sucks the thing I like about the Dave Smith show is he focus on sports not no hollywood actors! That Petro and Money Show is a joke all they talk about is Hollywood actor stuff. I want to hear sports not no Hollywood crap!

I'm really bored by Myers and Hartman. I like Steve even though he does like the sound of his own voice. But he's knowledgeable and fun. Myers is really dull. I really miss the Loose Cannons!!! That was my favorite radio show. Vic got on my nerves but Mychal was the perfect balance to Steve. I can only take small doses of PMS. Petros's voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I have always hated Rome. What an ego and NOT funny! I get embarrassed for all his listeners trying to use the jargon and please him. Ugh.
As a woman who loves sports but doesn't know as much about them as some, I love to learn about sports but be entertained, too.
I wish somehow they'd bring back the Cannons.

Here is the problem.

Your not going to have the same radio shows like you used to have. Look at your super bowl commericals. They are dry and stale just like LA radio. Everyone is being stagnate to keep the money that they have coming to them until the economy gets better.

KLAC 570 is finished as #1 radio station in Southern California. Once you take fresh, local radio and make it national, people turn it off because no one cares about Nashville TN when your in LA. Unless one of our local teams is playing a game there, no one cares.

When you make that many changes in last 2 years, (Thompson out except for his contract with the Lakers )shows me that it is over. The problem started when KLAC brought in Patrick. Then Bruno. Bruno was a horrible pickup. You got rid of McDonnell (either way he was better than Bruno) Then Lee Klein ( he could have been prejudice but people tuned in.) When they started. it was all local!
My point is local people want to hear from local hosts about their team.

Here is who is available:

1) Bill Werndl: Is he going to Xtra 1360 or back to Philly?

2) Joe McDonnell?? Is he going to San Diego now or out of state?

3) Hacksaw has XM show and does a weekly spot in Vancouver BC for the Team 1040 www.team1040.ca with Rick Ball will he go back to being a host on the XX Radio?

4) Vic The Brick is a nice man ( confused though… Can you be a follower of peace but then wants to fight people???) Is he going to be a update guy and that's it? With all that leeway he had on the radio, looks like they are slowly laying him off too! too bad for him!!! Some people would say he went over the top of Hartman alot and thought it was his show. Thompson was only interested in Lakers basketball.

The radio will lose a lot of team chemistry with al the people they are losing and that will show in the ratings. Get used to the 1.0-1.5 KLAC

The XX Sports radio ( Mighty 1090) fired people too. Billy Werndl is out and tutino. Big contracts are out and merging to save money is in.

Only station doing good is ESPN radio 710

Czaben has the best show going IMO, very entertaining and not arrogant like other broadcasters who should just stick to TV.

I just don't get how a station carrying the lakers (the most popular team in-town) can't make a buck without having to "go national"…
