Jessica Simpson Immortalizes Her Curse Of Romo

As a general rule, anyone that wears one of those pinkified replica jerseys should be considered sportsfana non grata. And doubly so if that person happens to hex your favorite team.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo

And if that person pens a song about your quarterback? You can forget about winning a Super Bowl as long as she’s alive. Yes, Jessica Simpson is writing a song about her “future husband” Tony Romo.

SHOWBIZ SPY gives us the dirt on Jessica’s new track, “Back In My Old Boots,” that everyone is sure to not really care about:

“Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again,” she adds.

Jessica was quick to dismiss critics who said her showing up at one of the football games that he lost last year jinxed his career.

“Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous,” she tells the June issue of Glamour magazine. “I don’t understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No.”

It’s obvious that she’s jinxing the team: the sooner the Cowboys get bounced from the playoffs, the more time that Jess gets to spend with her man. Wow, she’s so selfish. She probably makes him wait in the car when she goes shopping and says, “I’ll just be a minute!” Four hours later, she comes back with 10 bags and a $1300 credit card bill. Not that I would know anything about that.
