Jay Not So Touch Feely About Chris Henry Death

Prodigious Twitter.com account holder Jay Feely Tweeted this after Chris Henry’s death was announced today:

Jay Feely Tweet About Chris Henry's Death

(Jay: How’s the air up that high (and mighty)?)

Probably not the best way to express himself at that moment. But don’t take my word for it.

Feely then followed with the obligatory backpedal. Sorta.

Would’ve been nice to see a placekicker with a little better perspective chime in. Your thoughts, Lawrence Tynes?

Feely is just saying what a lot of people are thinking including me. This wouldn’t happen to a guy like Peyton Manning. You keep living like Henry did then it’ll catch up to you.

It’s called the law of averages. Stick your hand in the fire long enough and you’re going to get burned. And if he actually jumped then….

Ty is right. But it’s the double edged sword of “celebrity”. You can’t say what the common man may think, because you’re not looked at like the common man.

Why post something like that on Twitter for the world to see? Yes Jay may have a good point in some people’s opinion but it was in poor taste and he should have just kept his thoughts to himself. Twitter is a great thing but some people just dont know how to use it.

Loving all these high and mighty people. Rather than respect those that were close to him, his children, his family, etc this jack ass starts degrading the guy for how he lived his life.

Yes he has made some bad decisions in life but we dont know what happened? He was probably trying to save her, who drove off so frantically. Who knows? But to criticize his mistakes in life now is insensitive. He didnt die trying to rob a liquor store. Have some empathy for his family!!
