THANK GOODNESS THEY DIDN’T PUT THIS THING IN MIAMI: This Sunday the NFL reaches out to the people of London, who as we all know have a true appreciation for
armoured wankball American football.
The Giants meet the Dolphins in the game, but just as important is this news out of Central London today: “Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone and Hollywood star and NFL fan Christian Slater today greeted a 26ft replica of Miami Dolphins star player Jason Taylor to London’s Trafalgar Square to mark the historic game between the Dolphins and New York Giants on the 28th October. Taking place at Wembley Stadium the game will be the first competitive NFL action to be played outside the Americas.”
It’s a good thing the winless Dolphins decided to erect the statue in London and not South Florida, otherwise it would’ve been quickly pulled down by Fins fans, Saddam-style.
