ANOTHER ENORMOUS TILT FOR KU’S PUMPKIN-ON-STILTS: While the big game for most folks this weekend will be played on Sunday in central Indiana, our eyes will instead be mostly affixed on Lawrence, KS., as the Flying Manginos attempt to go to 9-0 with a win over the Nebraska bandwidth robbers.

We’re happy to say that we have found one person who may be as excited about the game as we are: Michael Rosenberg of Foxsports.com.

Rosenberg shares our disbelief at the betting line, which has KU giving 19 scoreboard clicks to the visitors from the land of North Platte (our advice: keep your business-class a** away from this one).

Of course, we wouldn’t be nearly as excited about KU football if it weren’t for the Man from Gino’s (East). The thing we love most about the coach is, like Charlie Weis, despite his colossal, turnip-shaped girth, he never laced a cleat in college. We can’t think of a better reason to root a team with a stadium smaller than some Texas high schools. Go you hairy ‘Hawks!
