Iowa Hawkeye Receivers Accused Of Theft Photos From Their Dorm Rooms

WALK-ONS WERE NEVER SO HAPPY AT THE UNIV. OF IOWA: Last Sunday two University of Iowa wide receivers were arrested for trying to make $2,000 worth of purchases with stolen credit cards.

KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids (IA) reports Hawkeye receiver Dominique Douglas, 19, and sophomore wide receiver Anthony Bowman, 19 were named “in a criminal complaint filed in Johnson County District Court alleges the pair attempted to make purchases at C&E Fashions, Sneakerhead and Hatworld using stolen credit cards, presumably online.

The stolen credit cards belonged to two separate victims, neither of which had any known association with the players. The players attempted to charge over $2000 in merchandise, the criminal complaint does not specify if they ever received the goods. The events allegedly took place on campus, at Phillips Hall and at the Gerdin Athletic Learning Center.
