I needed something to blow off steam from the monumental NBA trade today that rocked The Basin to its core, so I’m happy to report that I’ve discovered a figure skater turned actress/singer/model to help us all decompress into the weekend.
(You’re kidding, right?)
Her name is Anna Semenovich, and she was a Russian Ice Dancer who competed internationally from 1995-2000.
After retiring from skating, she underwent a rather remarkable physical transformation and has since expanded her, uh, career to singing and acting.

I learned something new today. IMDB actually tracks Russian movies and TV, and thank goodness for that, since we can now follow Semenovich’s every career move.
(Russian Maxim! So that’s who’s still buying the flagging brand)
She’s been rather busy of late, starring in the Russian blockbuster movie “Hitler Kaput“, which is a film about, apparently, Hitler, Poland and Semenovich’s breasts.
She’s also made plenty of obligatory girl group appearances with something called “Blestyashchie”.
Coincidentally, that song is also about Hitler, Poland and Semenovich’s breasts.
Surprisingly though, you would think with a body like that, and a name like Semenovich, she’d have already endorsed a full line of life-like blowup dolls. But sadly, I’ve yet to see anything move over at Amazon.Ru.
