Isn’t this what sports once was like? This is a story that has to be shown on ESPN, CNN, picked up by Keith Olbermann, and other national TV programming. Someone who can get the attention of Mr. Olbermann’s producers will jump on this story. With all the attention paid to sociopathic players like Brett Favre, Alex Rodriquez, Roger Clemens, and Barry Bonds to name just a few, this kind of story will also get the attention of President Barack Obama. A call from the President to this player who lost his mother at such a young age will help him in the grieving he will be going through. Congratulations to the coaches and player’s for showing this nation the true meaning of sportsmanship.
