Yahoo’s PUCK DADDY has some amateur footage from something called the “Pittsburgh Fall Classic,” which features an unnamed assailant unleashing an over-the-shoulder chop at a fallen opponent.
Video after the jump.
A little sad to see how little the kid’s teammates defended him.
Then again, the fallout was minimal. That still doesn’t mean the offender shouldn’t have gotten a glove facial immediately thereafter.

Are those kids wearing Carolina Hurricanes jerseys? Then it was probably an old Hartford Whalers fans what done the swinging.

He did get slashed in the legs. And then he got checked from behind afterwards.

Good thing Todd Bertuzzi's kid wasn't playing. He would have driven that other kid right into the ice.

Or Pittsburgh kids are so dumb they don't know when they've been hit.

McSorley wouldn't have approved of this. He didn't hit him hard enough.

Sean Avery approves.

I'd love to hear Mike Lange's call on this play.
"Look out, Loretta! He beat him like a rented mule!"

Can't get enough Mike Lange!
"Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has just left the building - on a stretcher."

The guy taking the stick hit wasn't even fazed. Must be cheap wood.
