Found some video today of Ricky Hatton’s pre-fight dressing room before his recent win over Paulie Malignaggi.
(If only “Richard” had followed through on right cross on Liam Gallagher)
With music from Mancunian band Oasis blaring in the background, the space was thick with well-wishers, including the obligatory Sylvester Stallone appearance, plus David Beckham and Oasis members Liam and Noel Gallagher. The Gallaghers, regrettably, also joined Hatton in the ring that night.

It’s difficult to make out what Hatton’s saying throughout the vid, including to his brother Manny (the other fighter in the room). The best I could do was pick up Hatton’s reference to the importance of sh–ting before the fight. Coincidentally, right after those comments, the brothers Gallagher entered the room.
There’s also a drunk Liam Gallagher calling Hatton “Richard” before the two embraced.
Sadly, Hatton failed to fulfill the dream of radio executives worldwide and drop Liam with a left hook.
Now, onto searching for that coveted Oscar De La Hoya dressing room video featuring Coldplay and Cristiano Ronaldo.
