WHEN DIVORCE DEAL IN DOUBT, “STARVE” THE WIFE OUT: Just when you thought things couldn’t get uglier between Mr. Chris Evert and his ex-wife, Greg Norman and his ex-wife Laura have gone and done it again.

Two months after we reported that the “Greg Norman’s oft-ugly divorce court proceeding is nearing finality, as he’s reportedly agreed to give his ex-wife $100M of his $300M fortune“, now the SYDNEY MORNING NEWS (with an assist from the AP) is reporting this week that Norman “has changed the locks on the $US21 million Florida mansion, fired the housekeeper and cut off his wife’s credit cards in an attempt to ‘coerce’ and ’starve her out’“.
In a court filing last week, Laura Norman claimed her husband “is attempting to starve (her) out so she has no choice but to surrender to his positions“. Norman, through his lawyer, denied canceling her plastic but also noted Ms. Norman’s apparent intractable stance when it came to a pending settlement.

Of course, the best part of the whole sordid mess came in the initial court proceeding, when Greg Norman noted “The wife did not teach the husband to swing a golf club, The wife did not teach the husband to win.
And now we know the wife did not teach the husband how to keep up appearances, either.
