Second Google Maps item on SbB today. Ben Maller has a nice find, noting that, “Lou Piniella might not use the internet much but he has been caught leaving a Chicago hot spot by Google Maps.”
“The Cubs manager can be seen walking if you type in the address 3552 N. Clark, Chicago IL 600636, click street view and spin the camera around 180 degrees.“
Amazing that you’re able to find Piniella on the map. Sadly though, I wasn’t able to find Steve Lyons’ network analyst job. Wonder if Lou can help us with that one?
Now the public is anxiously awaiting Google Maps’ next big rollout: LaRussa traffic reports.

Look, not to be an ass about this, but why would Piniella park his Tahoe outside Bar Louie on a non-game day around lunchtime when the players’ parking lot is a block away and much better protected? Hell, why would anyone go to Bar Louie on a non-game day?
Also, I wouldn’t refer to Bar Louie as a “hot spot”. More like “a nice little chain place the Trixies are into if the Cubby Bear’s full”.
