Golfer Lil’ Guiliani Will Fire Apples At Your Face

We last heard from upstanding citizen and model teammate Andrew Giuliani back in July. After getting unceremoniously kicked off the Duke golf team for being anything but upstanding or model. Giuliani — yeah, that onehad his mommy publicly question the judgment of the golf coach, because, really, you’d have to be mental expel Lil’ Andy.

Andrew Giuliani

Maybe not. According to the ASSOCIATED PRESS, after an exhaustive investigation (administrative rubber stamp), Duke University says Giuliani was “properly dismissed from the golf team and was never promised a spot on the squad.”

Andrew Giuliani sued Duke in July, claiming he was improperly cut from the team earlier this year and that the coach violated a contract he entered when he agreed to come to the university and pay $200,000 in tuition and fees.

But Duke said in a court filing Wednesday that the 22-year-old Giuliani was properly suspended after throwing an apple in the face of another player, breaking a golf club during a tournament, injuring a teammate and becoming verbally abusive with a coach.

Giuliani’s lawsuit says allegations were fabricated as coach O.D. Vincent III tried to shrink the size of the team.

Apples to the face? Really? Good Lord, it’s just like the THE TWO COREYS, but somehow twice as lame.

Here’s my question: why didn’t somebody on the team introduce Giuliani to that club in the bag known as “the beatdown”? I mean, he had free reign to terrorize everybody without fear of recrimination? Who is he, Bernie Kerik?

Still, despite dropping Happy Gilmore from the roster, Duke has somehow managed to be a top-25 team. Weird how that works.
