Going Bold On Lakers: No Playoff Game Losses

I was at the Lakers-Suns game last night. Sat right behind George Lopez. Saw Ray Liotta (cheer), Jesse Jackson (boo), David Geffen, Jack, Steve Kerr. You’ll be happy to know Khloe was once again buried behind basket opposite Lakers bench. Best part: Tex Winter is back permanently, stationed behind Phil & Co.

Steve Nash Video Asking Violet Palmer If She Needs Glasses

This happened about 15 feet from us, Nash gets dinged by Violet Palmer for fouling Derek Fisher on a 3-ball.

Lakers go undefeated in playoffs, so you’re saying there’s a chance?

I can confirm via the eyeball test that the Suns are a fraud. Prediction: Nash be traded at some point this season. Or after the season. He has no chance to win anything with that team, regardless of their record at the moment.

The lack of defense by Phoenix is appalling, but the lack of effort on defense is worse. Assistant coaches Dan Majerle and Bill Cartwright might as well be moonlighting as ushers.

The Lakers? Once Pau Gasol gets back, I shudder to think how good the team will be. I don’t think the east coast media really understands what’s happening out here. Ron Artest is fitting in perfectly, and he’s giving the Lakers the only thing that they absolutely needed this season: Intimidation.

I was at Staples opening night for Lakers-Clippers, and Artest was much more tentative in that game, offensively and defensively. Last night, different guy. Jabbing opponents, statement-making hard fouls, the kind of thing I’ve never seen any legit Laker do in my 10 years of going to games at Staples.

If the Lakers can avoid the obvious injury and off-court potholes, they’re going to not only win the NBA title, but I can’t see them losing a playoff game. Checkit Spurs.

How sweet would it be to sweeeeeeeeeeep the Celtics????

After game four Kobe can pound his chest and start crying ala Mr. over-top-emotional…Kevin Garnett…what a putz.

Somehow I doubt Nash will be traded since he just signed a two year extension.

Extension doesn’t matter. In some ways it makes him more attractive to other teams.

When Nash sees how bleak the season is turning out, he’ll push hard to get out. He’s running out of time to get a ring. Sarver is a rube for turning the team over to Kerr (and then deferring to Nash about Porter). Look where it got them. The team is a disaster compared to what it once was. Shame really.

Brooks - 4th game in 5 nights for Phoenix. Not saying the Suns are better by any stretch. Just sayin you may want to stop jerking off to the Lakers for the time being - it’s November!

C’mon, dude. You’re judging the Suns as a fraud because they lost to the Lakers - arguably the most talented team in the NBA and the defending champs — at home in November?

Sounds to me like a gloating Laker fan that sat on his hands during the middle part of the decade when the Suns were knocking the Lakers out of the playoffs every year…

Incidentally, let’s get to the important issue - the real reason why anybody comes to this site…

What’s up with no girls updates in months????

Another tidbit of which I was previously unaware. The Suns came into the came after playing the night before AND off an East Coast road trip.

The Lakers? Well, they hadn’t played since Sunday. Other than Lamar Odom, who presumably still has to lift his now-wife every now and then (the honeymoon period isn’t over yet, is it?), the rest of the team was not only not tired, but well rested…

I’m not a fan of the Suns, but they’re not a fraud.

By fraud I meant not a contender to win anything. With that context, you guys do have a point.

Fraudulent in that they’re off to this amazing start, but they’ll be back to earth soon enough. I’ll wager the Clips have a better record by the end of the season.

God if Dunleavy ever got canned, the Clips could be a Top 4 team in the west, if Griffin pans out. Big if tho of course.
