The NFL CHEERLEADER blog is truly doing god’s work these days, in documenting a rather unique phenomenon:
The blog has pieced together a list of all known pro cheerleader twins (I was a little disappointed though that the Yankees radio broadcast team was not cited).
I’m sure you’ve all noticed the main sports media websites posting a plethora of cheerleader photos (college and pro) over the years. With some unintentionally amusing profile accompaniments.
I’ve always wondered why those fine, upstanding sites felt the need to do that. What, are they not getting enough traffic? In some corners, SbB has been classified primarily as a girls picture site. Yet our editorial page traffic outweighs the photo pages.
Meanwhile, SI.com posts thousands of cheerleader photos for no apparent reason, along with implied nudie, see-thru and thong pics of swimsuit models.
SbB doesn’t do any of that.
Yet no one would ever suggest that people go to SI.com for the girlie pictures (which of course, they do). I guess it helps to have a 60-year-old brand. Then you can get away with all the hypocrisy you want.
