Mike Organ (we love that name) of the NASHVILLE TENNESSEAN has a strange twist from yesterday’s Oral Roberts-Tennessee matchup in the women’s NCAA tournament.

Oral Roberts lost starting forward Mariana Camargo just seconds into the game against Tennessee Sunday night when she appreared to slip on a sign being used by the Lady Vols cheerleaders, who were seated along the baseline of the Golden Eagles’ basket.

Doesn’t sound like that big a deal, eh? Actually, it was.

Ms. Camargo torn her ACL, which sucks. The photo below is the immediate aftermath:

The cheer queen pictured no doubt wanted to make herself invisible, or at the very least flee the scene faster than a collapsed pyramid.
