Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury is only 23, so we can understand his being a bit nervous before the biggest game of his life last night.
Still, even if the kid was going to choke, he didn’t have to do it as soon as he stepped onto the ice…and that’s probably why this is so hilarious.
We’re grateful to THE WORLD OF ISAAC yet again, who found online this clip of Fleury leading his fellow Penguins onto the ice for Game One against the Red Wings…and falling right on his face.
Oh, that whole falling on his face thing also had a metaphorical interpretation as well; the Penguins were blown out, 4-0. Yeah, I guess four goals qualifies as a blowout for hockey. Hey, at least the game didn’t go to penalty kicks.
