FORMER FOX HOST ALLEGES DISCRIMINATION: Frank Stranzl of the Cal Poly student newspaper interviews former Fox Sports Radio host C.J. Silas, and introduces the piece by writing “her career has been marred by numerous instances of gender-based discrimination.“

Silas claims that she was “portrayed (on-air) … as a stereotypical sports-ignorant woman” and also disrespected on-air because of her Jewish faith.

But it might have all been different for Silas if, as she recalled in the story, she’d only taken up NPR on an internship offer *sigh*.
