Florida State to Honor Seminole Tribe with All-Black Uniforms
As a tribute to Nike’s coffers the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Florida State will don all-black uniforms in tomorrow’s tilt against Boston College.
The Nike design is based on the traditional colors of the Seminole Indian flag and will feature the word “unconquered” to recognize the only Indian nation to never negotiate a formal peace treaty with the United States.

Bobby Bowden plans to only wear the uniform once per season “and may be not at all in some years.”
