He was quite a bit different from the cookie cutter personalities that now fill the seats on SportsCenter. I have lost a great deal of respect for Forde--either for toeing (is that a word?) the company line when the story broke and not making the full disclosure or for purposely hiding the fact that he authored a book with Pitino in order to maintain the relationship and keep his exclusive. And Forde was on the show to debate Skip Bayless the day after the first Pitino press conference. They mentioned on that day that Forde has a personel relationship with Pitino.
